We’re proud to announce that Vidari Company Ltd, part of the Vidari Group and operator of Vidaripay, has officially received a Data Controller Certificate from the National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) of Rwanda (Registration No. 001/1954/0825).
This certification confirms that Vidaripay complies with Rwanda’s Personal Data Protection and Privacy Law (Law No. 058/2021) and meets all requirements as a registered data controller and processor. It’s an important milestone that reflects our dedication to protecting user information and maintaining the highest standards of security and transparency.
Rwanda introduced its Personal Data Protection and Privacy Law in October 2021, giving organizations two years to align with the new regulations. Vidaripay’s certification demonstrates our success in meeting these standards and our continued commitment to responsible data management in the digital payments sector.
